The Smiths

Built on the bench, not the counter

The Viking Forge has been running since 1982 — a small, family-run shop that keeps its job list short on purpose. Every firearm that comes through the door gets worked by hand, on one bench, start to finish, instead of moving down a line.

We're a licensed 07/SOT FFL machine shop, run today by owner Pete Swanson. We'll tell you plainly if something isn't worth fixing, and we stand behind everything that leaves with our name on the log.
